i. Bootrom starts from 0×2000000
ii. Bootrom size is 64k
I got no idea how to make the bootrom dump more efficient.
So, I concluded dumping the bootrom from iRecovery is a very painful job.

I am not going to post any tutorial. Please “ipodtouchfans” it.
There are some good guys at irc.osx86.hu , #itouch willing to help out too.
For Windows users … Buy a mac and install redsn0w.
Don’t get me wrong, iRecovery works fine on Windows. Just that will make your life really bad.
I wrote a small shell script to make the reboot process abit more easy.

ii. We all loves latest firmware.

Abit little bit more improvement,
With the help of chronic-dev team and lilsteve,
I manage to to get this stuff a little more.
Apple only allow,
(Recovery) iPhone$ image list
Permission Denied
We manage to move this further.
Nothing fancy, just able to run abit more things with my ipt2g now.
Old news, as old as more then 36 Hours (More or less).
The main point is, iphone-dev fellow found a way to jailbreak ipod touch 2g.
Summary,
i. Ipod Touch’s 2.1.1 iBec is broken.
ii. Broken stuff patch in 2.2 in silent mode.
iii. We can reuse 2.1.1 iBec in any firmware
iv. We can read and edit the Firmware.
